I am originally from South Carolina and moved to Maine after joining the U.S. Coast Guard many years ago. I was stationed both in South West Harbor and Jonesport Maine, where I participated in over 200 search and rescue missions. Shortly after joining, I met my best friend Sarah Hodges. We love the landscape, skiing Sugarloaf and the amazing restaurants in Maine so much that there is no place in the world we would rather live.

Favorite local band: Recently some friends introduced me to The Ghost of Paul Revere - they are now my new favorite.

Favorite Sports player: New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady -hands down the Greatest Of All Time!

Debbie Williams

Debbie Williams is an Army Brat and has traveled to many places until her parents retired to their home State of Maine in 1981. Germany was by far her favorite duty station. She has worked for the Goodwin Motor Group for 40 years starting in 1979, starting her career as a receptionist and has worked her way up to her current position of Comptroller. She handles the Financial Statements for all of the Goodwin Motor Group stores and feels the auto industry is a very rewarding experience because it is constantly changing and brings many new challenges. Debbie currently lives in Topsham and has two children, a son-in-law and one grandchild who is the light of her life.

The best place to see a sunset in Maine is: Sabattus Lake at my friend's camp. It is just so serene and nature at its finest.

My favorite pet is: Sassy who was a rescue dog who lived to age 10 until she got gravely ill and crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was a black and brown lab mix. There will never be another like her and I know she is playing her favorite game catching Frisbee with all our previous pets who have crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Rick Kimball
Director of Fixed Operations

I started as a service manager with the Goodwin Motor Group back in 1996 during the construction of Frank Goodwin's brand-new Land Rover dealership in Scarborough. 23 years later I oversee the service, parts and collision center departments in the 5 dealerships that make up the Goodwin Motor Group. Married for 35 years with 2 grown children. We live in South Portland and enjoy everything, Maine. When not working or spending time with family I enjoy golfing and bass fishing. Though not that great at either. My career at Goodwin's has been a privilege as I am surrounded by talented and dedicated co-workers, inspirational leaders, and the wonderful people we serve.

Nicole Landry

Nicci grew up in NH and went to high school there at Kingswood Regional High school. She went to college and received her bachelor's in Business Management from SNHU. She handles a number of processes at Goodwin Motor Group and our gears wouldn't run if she wasn't around to make sure they are in good working order.

Favorite Season: I love all the seasons in Maine but fall is my favorite, I just love the smells and crispness in the air and of course FOOTBALL!!

Best Ice Cream in Maine: Fielders Choice their coffee oreo ice cream is to die for!! Bring your appetite though because the portions are huge.

Gerry Foster
Digital Marketing Manager

Gerry is our resident web wizard. Tucked away neatly in a corner office, he is the person we go to when something is wrong on our websites, or with any of our online properties (he's also the guy to get mad at when prices are wrong online). College-educated and self-taught, he brings his skill set to the team ready to enhance our online presence and to perform internet wizardry on a regular basis.

If you're at the Brunswick store and you want to have a good laugh, stop by and see him. He can't sell you a car, but he can tell you all about "canonical" tags and "click-thru rate," whatever the heck that means.

Favorite local meal: Have you had the curried mussels from Frontier Cafe? Mouthwatering at worst, and full meal filling at best. The chef at Frontier is awesome and the activities they have on a regular basis, in addition to a full-scale coffee bar, make this a go-to on a regular basis.

If I could have any superpower: I would have the ability to calm other people down and make them feel bliss. What better way to move through life than to make everyone feel at peace with the world just by being near them?

Best Ice Cream in Maine: It was and will forever be Catbird Creamery. Since they have closed, though, I have to pass the torch to Mount Desert Island Ice Cream. I recommend any of the smoked ice creams!

Best place to see a sunset in Maine: On a boat in Casco Bay.

Jonathan Merrifield

I Am the first person you will see when walking into our service department, I'm a very Happy go, lucky guy if your vehicle needs service... I'm your man!! I was born in Portland, Maine and attended high school at Bonny Eagle in Standish. I graduated from Lakes Region Community College in 2009 with my associates in applied automotive science. And continued as a technician until 2012. I took a bit of a break from the automotive field but returned to the industry by joining the Goodwin Chevrolet Mazda team in 2017 as a service advisor. I enjoy being outdoors! Mountain biking, fishing, and recreational motorsports are what make me tick! I am married with one child and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends most of all.

My favorite meal: you can't get in the Brunswick bath area, its got to be some home-cooked BBQ, burgers or steak tips on the grill served with a cold beer and some pasta salad!

Favorite sports player: it has to be Emmitt Smith #22 Dallas Cowboys !!

Early Bird gets the worm or night owl? I'm a night owl through and through, not sure why I just never liked going to bed early.

Alexis Getchell

Alexis Getchell was born and raised in Brewer Maine. She graduated from Brewer High School in 2017. She moved to the Midcoast for a fresh start right after she graduated. Now living with her fiancee Taylor, her cat Mya, Siberian Husky Tundra and German Shepherd Kona." I always knew I wanted to work at an auto dealership ever since I could remember. Especially since my father has worked at Downeast Toyota for all my life. That's probably what got me hooked on cars. And inspired me to work in this type of business." When she isn't at work, she likes to spend her time with her fur babies, her fiancee, friends and family, and to just create memories!

The best place to see a sunset in Maine: The best place to see a sunset would definitely have to be on top of Cadillac Mountain, because you have the whole view of the water, the sky, the landscape, the mountains, it is so beautiful there. Even if you miss the sunset, it is definitely worth the drive to go during the day. But another beautiful spot in Maine to see the sunset is just about anywhere on the boat on the water! Because what's more relaxing than sitting on the boat out in the ocean watching the sunset?

My favorite pet is: I am a huge animal lover and I love all my pets. But since I have to pick I am going to say my favorite pet is Tundra he is a 3-year-old Siberian Husky, he is considered "Red and White" and he has brown eyes. He is my favorite dude. I have always wanted a husky since the day I could remember, then 3 years ago we found a breeder and I had to get him so I did! Then it would be my German Shepard, her name is Kona and she is only 12 weeks old and shes tan and black. We got her so Tundra could have a friend to play with.

When she is not working at Goodwin's she enjoys going on runs/walks, shopping, watching a good movie, or eating some great local food. During the summer of her college years, she worked and lived in Bar Harbor, Maine, and names Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as one of the best places to visit in the state. Natasha loves working at the dealership and forming relationships with customers, making their buying experience easier and memorable.

Favorite place in the Brunswick area to eat: is Shere Punjab. Being from Aroostook County, prior to moving to the area she never tried Indian food. She describes the Chicken Tikka Masala as; love at first bite.

Jody Lowe
Sales Associate

I am in my 13th year at Goodwin's Chevrolet Mazda. Coming here meant going to the major leagues from the minors from the moment Frank Goodwin called and asked me to join his sales team. My time at Goodwin's has meant meeting a huge variety of new and awesome people-both customers and employees. I pride myself on finding out what the customer's problem or need may be and help them move forward. Coming to Goodwins has been very rewarding not only for myself personally but for the hundreds of customers that I have had the pleasure in helping out over the years!

Favorite Brunswick Restaurants: Byrne's Irish Pub with their Leprechaun Balls and pretzels are incredible. While the Tomato Primavera with olives from Scarlett Begonias, every Friday, simply makes my week complete!!!!!

My favorite pet Bergamot, my daughter's puppy!!! Bergie is half border collie/half black lab. She is a rescue puppy that was found, with her litter, in a cardboard box on the side of a Georgia road 1 1/2 ago. I am amazed that her life's journey has brought her to us. And am so very thankful! I have never experienced so much love in a little package!!!!

The best place to observe a sunset in Maine: The deck at our family boathouse. The boathouse is located by our home in Days Ferry, Woolwich on the east side of the Kennebec. The setting sun observed up-river through the "chops" by Thorne Head is incredible and is different with every sunset, determined by the various cloud formations.

Shelby Bertrand
Business Manager

Some would say I'm not your typical girl. I am definitely a gear head. I enjoy the speed with my Suzi (motorcycle) and Shelby (car). Yes, I am weird. I love sharing my own personal experience with customers, to make it a good experience.

I grew up at Brighams Cove, West Bath, Maine. Which happens to have the best sunsets!

I have three children Colby, Joey, and Taylah. I also have a dog named Diesel, and a cat, Jagermeister. Can you guess what my choice of truck and drink is? In my spare time, I love swimming competitively and doing Zumba. My favorite local place to eat is JR Maxwells. And I enjoy a local band Empty Head.

I also have 17 years of experience as a Service Advisor/Service Manager. I enjoy taking the time to go over the technical side of the vehicle. If I don't know the answer, I have the resources to find the answers for you. I have achieved master certifications in 3 major manufacturers. My main goal is to assist you in making sure your vehicle is well cared for.

I am very detailed oriented. I will get my hands dirty to assure that you have the best looking car around. Six years ago, I assisted in building and establishing Twisted Iron Customs with my boyfriend. I believe in the importance of keeping your business local. I believe you should protect your investment. I am educated on how to keep your vehicle in the best shape. I want to make sure it lasts forever and keeps its value.

Goodwins is a small family dealership. This is my family. My customers are my family. My goal is to make sure your within your budget when selecting payment options. I also want to make sure you're prepared for unexpected events. Most of all my main goal is to make sure that your family is protected on the road.

Matt Anderson
Sales Manager

Matt Anderson grew up on the sparsely populated Irish island of Arranmore, yet somehow lacks a true Irish accent. His childhood and young adult years were spent shearing sheep, doing the books for his Ma and Pa's business "Piece Fleece," and eventually started to travel and discover the World. That brings us to now-ish. He arrived in Maine much like the way he can handle a full-grown goat, with ease, care, and a delicate touch. It was a few years ago now, but his love for the frigid winter, high taxes, and impossibly cold and unswimmable Atlantic Ocean has a grip on him like old man Winter himself. He's with us now, whether he likes it or not.

Favorite local meal: The Tostitos at Pancho Villa Mexican Restaraunt and Cantina are out of this world. Even their chips are amazing!

Who is my favorite musician? This should really go without saying, but John Tesh is my personal hero. I have a full portrait of him tattooed on my back, and I make sure to catch his radio show every day, live or by podcast. If you haven't heard his live stuff, let me tell you, you're missing out. I'm also sort of my own favorite singer. I'm the frontman for "Vesty and the Vape Clouds," a barbershop quartet/screamo mashup. It's unique, like me!

Favorite place to see a sunset: locally, I would have to say anywhere on Bailey's Island. Such a great little community out there, and it's serene and beautiful, just like home.
